TUTORING

Providing the youth with a safe, positive, and stimulating environment to explore learning and experience academic and personal success. Our program focuses on building educational confidence and academic support and mentoring throughout their school year.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

Financial education is more than dollars and cents. It’s about establishing better spending habits, instilling confidence, and equipping the next generation with the real-world skills to manage financial goals. With worksheets and engaging activities for each grade, teaching: Coins Earning money Budgeting and spending Saving Giving to charity Taxes Insurance

CONFLICT RESOLUTION

This class will teach young children and teenagers how to understand conflict. It will focus on how to make postive choices in regads to conflict. This is a great way to help students become confident and build healthy social skills, this class also promotes a positive and peaceful solution in dealing with conflict.

MENTORING

Our goal is to monitor a child for the purpose of safety. The client worker will use four (4) strategies to manage disruptive behavior. The four (4) strategies are: Postive attenion, Validation, Consistent routine and a Positive role model. This service is a great way to reduce defiance, difficulty with transitions, irritability and improve well being in the students lifestyle.

SUMMER CAMP

Full of FUN, ACTIVITIES and LEARNING all in one! Swimming, parks, museums, talent shows, movie day, etiquette and much more.....

HEALTH & FITNESS

Our health and fitness course is filled with FUN! We focus on movements that prevents childhood obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and reduce the risk of developing heart desease. Along with sports, relays and a nutrition class, we include a full day of CPR training under the American Heart Association Guidelines and obtain their CPR cards.

PEER PRESSURE

We encourage open and honest communication to help the child prepare for situations of negative peer pressure. Supporting them in finding a safe space and a support of a peer who is also willing to say "no." With several tips to help the children avoid negative peer pressure and respond in a healthy way.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

Mix Martial Arts containes two (2) parts. Jiu Jitsu and Tae Kwondo. Jui Jitsu aids in self defense and a great methed for character building. Tae Kwondo incorporates both physical and mental skill that creates a well rounded individual.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

Our transportation service ensures that displaced youth and young adults have reliable, safe, and accessible transportation to and from all our programs, events, and essential appointments. We understand that transportation is a significant barrier for many of the individuals we serve, so we provide this service to eliminate obstacles to their participation in educational, vocational, and wellness activities. Key Features of Our Transportation Service: Door-to-Door Service: We pick up participants from their homes, shelters, or temporary housing and transport them directly to our program locations or other key destinations, such as job interviews, tutoring sessions, or medical appointments. Safe and Reliable Vehicles: Our vehicles are regularly maintained, ensuring safety and reliability. All drivers are carefully vetted, trained, and experienced in working with youth and young adults. Flexible Scheduling: We accommodate varying schedules to ensure participants can access our programs at times that fit their personal needs, including weekends and evenings. Community Access: Beyond transporting participants to our programs, we also connect them to local resources like job fairs, community centers, and partnering organizations. By providing reliable transportation, Martell's Way ensures that no one is left out due to logistical challenges, enabling every individual to access the full range of our supportive services.
